George Mason Wizards
I haven't been inside the Patriot Center since I briefly covered George Mason during my first winter in the district (2005). Of course, that was one year BEFORE Jim Larranaga's squad shocked the hoops world by making it to the Final Four. Can't say I saw it coming either. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the joint was the huge banner commemorating the achievement hanging in the rafters.
The Wizards will play the Dallas Mavericks tonight in Washington's second preseason game. As far as I know right now, everyone will be available to play including Gilbert Arenas. However, with a game tomorrow night at Philly, I wouldn't be shocked if he sat that one out. Not much to update right now but I'll check back later with observations on the game.

Blatche has 6 rebounds in 12 minutes at the half. Nice.
