Haywood looks good to go
The word is that Brendan Haywood went through shootaround this morning without a problem and should be fine to start tonight against Golden State. The Wiz have won six in a row and another win would give them the team's longest win streak since 2004-2005 when they also won...

An NBA Live Curse?
Terrible. Just terrible. That was my initial reaction when I heard that Gilbert Arenas was going to have to miss at least three months after having surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus in the same leg he suffered a torn meniscus last April. You have to assume he had...

Without Arenas, Wiz keep winning
It wasn't pretty at the end and the Wiz really did give Charlotte every chance to steal a victory tonight but in the end, a 114-111 overtime win here in Charlotte tonight at least gave the Wiz a reason to feel good on a day that included bad news...

Arenas: "I'm out three months"
Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas underwent surgery today to repair a partial tear in his left meniscus and the injury is expected to keep him out at least three months. Arenas originally tore the meniscus in the knee last April 3 and had surgery a few days later. The re-injury...

Gilbert out for tonight
Gilbert Arenas will miss his second straight game, Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan just said a few moments ago. Arenas also did not play in Saturday night's home win over Portland. His status for tomorrow's game at Charlotte may be up in the air as well judging by Eddie's comments....

The Magic Looks Legit
Jameer Nelson was getting dressed in the visitors' locker room at Verizon Center a few weeks ago when he compared his situation as point guard for the Orlando Magic to the red hot quarterback on the NFL's only unbeaten team. "I got to Tom Brady this thing," Nelson said. "I...

Arenas Sits Out Practice
I just showed up at the Verizon Center and the team is scrimmaging. Reporters haven't been allowed to watch yet, but I've heard that Gilbert Arenas is sitting out. The team got the day off, but Arenas is going to rest his surgically repaired left knee one more day with...
