At the half, Game 5

The Wizards lead 45-43 here after a pretty solid first half. For the first time all series, Caron Butler has been assertive and he has 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting as a result. Another key is that the Wiz hold a 16-14 edge in rebounding and have connected on five three-pointers. Those two stats are going to be crucial.

Look for Eddie Jordan to call some stuff for Antawn Jamison early in the second half to get him going. With Caron and DeShawn Stevenson (11 points) taking an aggressive approach, he's been quiet though he does have six boards.

LeBron James (10 points of 2 of 8 shooting) has been content to probe the defense and move the basketball so far but I'd look for him to get after it here in the third.

Aside for the play when Darius Songaila and Stevenson were hit with technicals after Songaila caught James with an elbow to the chin, the rough stuff has been at a minimum which is great. And hey, give James credit for this: he didn't fall to the ground and roll around like a soccer player this time, so that's good.
