Butler, Songaila updates
Caron Butler and Darius Songaila collided during practice today and sustained what the team hopes are minor injuries. Butler is day-to-day with a bruised right knee and Songaila is day-to-day with a mild left ankle sprain. X-rays on Butler's knee were negative (meaning no serious damage) but he was said to be walking with quite a limp after practice.
Coach Eddie Jordan said he hopes to have everyone available (except for Etan Thomas) against the Celtics tomorrow night. I'm still back home in Minnesota spending some quailty time with my ailing grandmother (she's got some tough juice in her as well) and will be meeting up with the team in Detroit Friday night.
Paul Tenorio covered practice yesterday and today and my main man Mike Lee is on the case tommorow night.
