Wiz Chat Today

Stop by the site at 11:30 eastern time for a Wiz chat. I'll do my best to answer any questions you guys have about this team. It's only the preseason but these guys obviously need to give a better showing tonight here in Barcelona than they did the other night in Berlin.

Even with key guy missing, the offense can manage a bucket or two in the game's first 10 minutes and the defense can keep Chris Paul from dominating the game (he is that good however.) The pick-and-roll defense has to be better than it was the other night.

I was watching a tennis match on television and saw Gael Monfils do the "I can't feel my face" move after hitting an overhead smash.

I know Monfils is an NBA fan, but I would have never thought DeShawn spawned a global movement.

Wow, with in-depth knowledge such as "The pick-and-roll defense has to be better than it was the other night." You sure are an expert. Counting the minutes down...

wait i spoke too soon, i missed this:

Dixon fits because he's so familiar with Coach Eddie Jordan's system and because he could be a scorer off the bench in the Roger Mason Jr. mode. Now, Johnson would give this team something unique as well. He's a big guard at 6-foot-9, he's long defensively and he's a slasher.

way to generically define the players. you see these guys 24/7 give me something of value

how many minutes do you anticipate javell getting in the 1st third of the season, 2nd third of the season, and final third of the season?

The wizards won't make the playoffs this year. They honestly have one of the worst rosters in the league.

JaVale McGee will turn out to be the best of this years draft class. The Wizards have two legit NBA centers now. BH & McGee. ET is not and never was an NBA center. He is at best a 2nd rate backup power forward. DS & AB are not yet NBA starters. If given a fair chance by
EJ, JaVale will outperform the three combined. And once this happens and EJ does not play JaVale I predict that EG will fire EJ. BH never got along with ET because he knew that ET is at best a backup power forward and should not have taken center minutes away from him. EG will not allow Javale's growth and play to be mismanaged by EJ. Trust me, Javale McGee is the real deal and he will start this year. McGee will give the center position what it needs till BH gets back and together they will dominate the inside play for the Wizards. EJ must produce even with the injuries this year and he cannot do it with the rookie on the bench. You heard it from Larry in Clinton MD.
