Interesting scene from the end of practice today: Coach Ed Tapscott put some extra time in rebounding for second-year forward Oleksiy Pecherov, who was inactive last night and has seen only spot duty so far this season.
- Antonio Daniels made his return last night and practiced today, a good sign that his right knee is feeling better. Daniels was on the floor in the second quarter last night when the WIzards outscored Orlando 19-17. He missed his only shot during the quarter but the offense flowed and he was able to stick pretty well to Anthony Johnson. "He said he woke up this morning feeling good," Tapscott said of Daniels. "It's a little different look on the floor when he's in there because he's our most experienced point guard."
-Tapscott said he wanted to experiment a little more with big lineups last night but the early foul trouble experienced by JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche made that difficult. Both players were tagged wtih two first quarter fouls and Blatche, who was so good against Golden State Tuesday night, never got into the flow before fouling out.
