MMPG: The FourCast

I don't think we'll be taking a picture like this anytime soon. (Alberto E. Rodriguez - Getty Images)

1. Toronto at Orlando (Tuesday)
Of note: After dueling in the first round of the playoffs, they bonded as big-man brothers in Beijing. Now Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard go toe-to-toe in their first regular season matchup of the season. Bosh is the NBA's fourth-leading scorer (25.1 points), while Howard leads the league in blocks (4.2) and is in the top five in rebounds and field goal percentage.

2. Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix (Thursday)
Of note: You thought the whole Shaq & Kobe thing would get old, didn't you? Well, O'Neal brought it back to life this summer with his infamous, "Kobe can't do without me" freestyle after the Celtics beat the Lakers in the NBA Finals. It's the first meeting between the two since O'Neal busted his diss rhyme in a New York club. He has recently said that his feud with Bryant was orchestrated by none other than Phil Jackson. Let the fun begin -- again.

3. Los Angeles Clippers at Philadelphia (Friday)
Of note: Baron Davis and Elton Brand were supposed to be a package deal -- at least according to Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy -- one that could possibly give the Clippers equal billing with their Staples Center tenants, the Lakers. But after the Clippers reached an agreement with Davis, Brand bolted for Philadelphia, leaving his former franchise in shambles. The hard feelings should last for some time.

4. Boston at Minnesota (Friday)
Of note: What's the big deal about having the NBA champions playing one of the league's worst teams? It gives Kevin Garnett to the chance to play his first game in Minnesota as a member of some team other than the Timberwolves. Garnett missed playing at Target Center last season because of an abdominal injury.

Others in consideration: Chicago at L.A. Lakers (Tuesday), Cleveland at Detroit (Wednesday), Detroit at Boston (Thursday), L.A. Clippers at Philadelphia (Friday), Denver at L.A. Lakers (Friday), Atlanta at Cleveland (Saturday), Portland at Phoenix (Saturday), Boston at Toronto (Sunday)

That guy Shaquille... still quite the showman, promoter, whining, OVERPAID, and TIRED act in the NBA.

I wish he'd go away already.

How sad is it that the season has just started and you have to post other teams on the Wizard insider blog.

Why don't you write about a former Wizard who is playing better then any guard that is on the Wizard's roster?
