Daniels Takes Physical, Crittenton and James Will Suit Up
Javaris Crittenton and Mike James will be in uniform tonight.
John Reid of the New Orleans Times Picayune informs me that Antonio Daniels took his physical this morning and is expected to join the Hornets in Boston later tonight where the team awaits the Celtics for a game tomorrow night. Daniels was not made available to the media.
Hornets Coach Byron Scott: "I wouldn't anticipate him playing tomorrow night against Boston. Hopefully he'll have a day of practice in Boston on Saturday before we leave for Toronto so we can see how acclimate he is to a system like ours."
Coach Ed Tapscott said Juan Dixon will start tonight against the Celtics.
Crittenton has been assigned No. 8 and James No. 13.

Look who's playing better under Taps. It’s not only AB, but CB has taken it up a notch as well. In fact, Caron now has the second highest PER in the league for SFs.

That means Pierce will be on his A game tonight. But if Blatche comes to play, the Wiz frontcourt matches up well against the Celtics – and that says a lot.
We'll also need stellar performances from Dixon and Young (and hopefully the new guys if they can play) to stay close.

A little something for the "Blatche was just misunderstood" "being hard on young players doesn't work" crowd to chew on:

Yes, the Wizards coaches need to follow the lead of Hall of Fame Coach Vinny Del Negro.

Looking forward to the Celtics game. Hope the new guys play. Love the trade. AD is a good guy, but he has slowed down. Remember how Dean Smith used to substitute his entire 5 with another entire five. I would love to see the Wizards try that. After all, they practice as a unit. Wehave enough good subs to make it work. 2nd team players have made good contributions. It also creates a little competion between the two groups.
