Race to the Bottom (10 Games Remaining)

No change from yesterday. All four bottom-dwellers were idle.

The standings:

1. Kings (15-55) 2-8 in the last 10.
2. Wizards (16-56) 2-8 in the last 10.
3. Clippers (17-54) 2-8 in the last 10.
4. Grizzlies (17-53) 1-9 in the last 10.

Tonight, it's Wizards at home vs. Bobcats and Clippers at Knicks.

For those who like stats, Hollinger came up with something that measures a player's value to his team in terms of wins, etc.

Interestingly enough, JM was third behind Aj and CB.

What's Taps objectives for the rest of the year? Maximize playing time (and injuries) to the Big 3?

I suggest to those that continue to root for the Wizards to lose to do themselves a favor and enroll in your local community college statistics101 class. 5% is what you are rooting for right now, literally. That's what separates the number 1 from the number 2 spot in the lottery, 5% of the ping pong balls. So you honestly think that the winning ball will be won with an extra 1/20 balls.

Seriously, are people really this stupid? This was PRECISELY the reason they instituted the lottery, to prevent teams from tanking.

The level of stupidity on this blog has reached a boiling point.

At this point I almost hope the Wiz lose out, get the most amount of balls in the lotter (25%) and then end up with the 4th pick...Just to show the imbeciles on this blog how insanely idiotic their comments about us tanking were.

Losing games on purpose is for losers. If that's what you want to instill into the young talent - losing is OK - then go ahead. And in 3 years when the Wiz/Bullets have the most talented young team in the league and can't win a playoff series, that will be why.

Professionals give it their all every day (or night) no matter what their job is. Losers whine and grumble about getting screwed when in reality they are screwing themselves.

Finally someone on here who is not suffering from constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth. Could not agree more.

I have a theory that the clowns who demand we tank the final games are the supposed superfans who don't even watch the games. How can you root against your team if you are actually watching the games?

Ok, back to the Charlotte game.
