Denver Nuggets

When the Denver Nuggets lost five of their first six games in March to slip out of first place in the Northwest Division, the concern was that they had peaked too soon. But since losing to Houston on March 9, the Nuggets have regained their dominant form, moving back into second place in the Western Conference with Carmelo Anthony leading the team the only way he knows how -- with his lethal shooting arm.

The Nuggets recorded wins over New York, Utah, the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves, with the last three wins all decided by double-digits. They also clinched a playoff berth and now have a three-game lead over Portland for the division title. Denver has won seven in a row and 12 of its past 13 games overall and needs to win three of its final four games to set the franchise record for victories in a season. Denver is one of only four teams that have been to the playoffs every year since 2003. But unlike Detroit, Dallas and San Antonio, the Nuggets are still looking to finally get out of the first round.
