With the addition of Mike Mille and Foye why didn't you add the Wizards to your poll?

Frankly, I don't think the Magic or Cavs added much to their teams. In fact, I think they may have hurt their teams by ruining their team chemistry by adding demanding yet over-the-hill aging stars (think Farve on the Jets).

Shaq and Vince both demand the ball a lot and still think they are top class players, but the reality is they are verging on washed up.

The Draft starts in less then an hour...I can't wait to see who the Wizards draft with the 5th pick? I'm sorry they drafted a 29 year old white guy who can't play D and a guy who scored 14 pts on a team as bad as the Wizards were last year?

I guess we can wait and see how the other GM's in the east con other teams out of their all stars and see who we will sell our second pick too.

After watching Carter blow by Miller next year you won't be saying he's washed up.

This poll says it all. Even the Wizards' hometown paper doesn't believe Wizards management is trying to win a NBA Title.

I think our package was better than Lee, Alston and Battie. Would you guys rather have Vince and Anderson than Miller and Foye? I would.

I was a big fan of orlando throughout the playoffs, but I don't like this trade. Maybe I was sentimental towards alston, but lee? he's too young and has too much potential to trade for a 32 year old carter. in my opinion. especially if they don't have enough left to resign turkoglu. for what it's worth.

Atlanta stole J. Crawford. Cleveland stole Shaq, and Orlando and Washington did a wash. I like the T-Wolves and the Grizzles
chances to improve greatly. Which leaves the Wizards holding the bag.

If the Magic are able to re-sign Turkoglu, they are hands-down the favorite in the East.

By the way, Western Conference supremacy is over. They have the Lakers, and a bunch of real good teams. The East now has three dominant teams, and a darkhrose wildcard in the Wizards.

First off, the Magic had such a young up-and-coming team w/just the right mix of vets. Why put all your eggs in one basket and shrink your window to 2yrs?

VC, just like those eggs, will break easily during an 82game schedule or at the very least stink the place up when his teammates are getting "too many" touches.

And secondly, looking at the deal that is being discussed for GState to get Amare, I don't think that all they asked the Wiz for was CB3. I think they wanted the #5 pick, too.

70-75 to me is like big C+, and a C+ trade isn't going to do much for you.

I realize that you just picked the Conference Finals teams for the poll but my choice for "Other" would be the Spurs. They pick up Richard Jefferson for a song and just may sign Rasheed Wallace to plug in between Jefferson and Duncan.

I'm fine with the trade and glad we didn't end up with Rubio. I'm more upset we didn't keep the 32 pick and take Blair. That was a no brainer, especially given our lack of size and rebounding...

To those of you who think an untried eighteen year old can come in and lead an NBA team is just plain foolish! The draft this year had no players who are ready to play in the NBA except maybe Blake Griffin. Rubio has gotten caught up in his own hype to think that he will come in and dictate where and who he would play for. Let us not forget about the buyout that will cost the team that takes him plenty.He would do well to stay in Europe and mature, both physically, and mentally.It was very wise for Grunfeld to accquire two proven young veterans who can play.
