Morning Buzz

This morning, Michael Lee takes a trip down memory lane: an interview with former Wizards coach Eddie Jordan in anticipation of Tuesday's reunion in Philadelphia. Here's the latest on Antawn Jamison's condition. And Brendan Haywood is set to return today against Atlanta.

* In the Washington Times, Mike Jones looks at Dominic McGuire's struggle to earn playing time, and Tom Knott offers his opinion on Gilbert Arenas's silence.

* In case you missed it, Here's Mike Wise's column from Saturday's newspaper on the same topic, and Lee's report from Friday's sullen media session.

* Here's Truth About It on somber Gilbert.

* And Bullets Forever's Mike Prada asks: Who really erected Arenas's platform?

CRITTENTON can't even play. Who here thinks the WIZ condoned his play in ATLANTA this summer? He's toast. If not right now - soon. And as I've said plainly, I'd much rather keep JC and waive good-bye to MJ, but the circumstances just don't support moving JAMES. Besides he's the veteran, and we've all been told by the blogmeisters for the WIZARDS that FLIP loves vets. So......

007,

Crittendon can't play? You would be basing that on the his ankle injury, I am sure.

You cannot believe that Crit can't play. You must have him confused with somebody else.

Summer League's and organized pick-ups across the country are common for NBA players to participate in.

It would be wrong for you to conclude otherwise.

And if there is a fire sale going on with the Wizards in which I know there isn't, there is not any toasting of Javaris Crittendon to be had.

No TV for game tonight?

Why would you conclude he's toast? Every player plays some sort of summer league, it's just unfortunate that he got hurt and then tried to come back too soon. He'll be fine in time and I believe the team is high on him and his talent.

why was EJ pining for Haywood in his interview with M. Lee? Seemed like EJ would have ditched Haywood if it had been up to him.

Are you kidding about playing summer ball? That is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on here. What are these guys supposed to do in the summer? Play golf to in order to improve their jump shot? Geeze.
