I see deshawn is not starting.
That's been working so well the last few games too.

Question: How in the world can MeTawn shoot 22 shots but only shoot 4 FT's?

Answer: Taking too many long J's instead of working inside.

As Bucky reported, Les BouleS shot their frist free throw with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter.

SAD!

I love it when people post links that actually refute their argument.

Jamison took 22 shots but only took 4 three pointers (two of which he made). Moreover, he shot 50% from the field overall. By any reasonable (that's the key word here) standard he had a good offensive game. And he did, in fact, put the ball on the floor and drive several times, including a couple when he got hit and but didn't get the call. He also pulled up in the lane or on the baseline a few times to take (and make) short hooks/jumpers to avoid getting his shot blocked by the Lakers mammoth front line. He played his game and was efficient in doing so.

I love it when people talk about stuff they know nothing about.

MeTawn took 22 shots and nobody said anything about too many 3 pointers, so correct yourself there.

Nobody is saying that MeTawn is not a good shooter because he is. Unfortunately, MeTawn is not good enough to carry this team. MeTawn will maintain his stats whether the team wins or loses.

So, even though MeTawn got his stats, it was essentially a blowout with the Lakers up by at least 19 at one point. Yes, MeTawn played 46 of 48 minutes in this blowout. He probably wanted to reinforce his case for making the all star team.

Unfortunately, since MeTawn shoots a lot of J's instead of getting down and dirty inside like a power forward is supposed to, you end up with only 4 FT's in the entire game, and the team doesn't take its first attempt at the charity stripe until 5 minutes remain in the 2nd quarter.

Even the Lakers, with their mammothly soft front line ended up with 22 FT attempts compared to Les BouleS 14 even though Les BouleS took 84 shots in the game compared to the Lakers's 75 shots.

I'm not surprised you commented about the very same point that BTH lashed out about yesterday.

Give it a rest. BTH is right.
