Ernie Grunfeld stresses patience for John Wall
Wizards team president Ernie Grunfeld spoke about John Wall shortly after the Wizards used the No. 1 overall pick on the point guard, saying while expectations are going to be extremely high, Washington is going to take a measured approach to his development.
"We'll be patient with him," Grunfeld said. "Obviously we'll expect him to come in and play and work hard and learn. That's the main thing. He knows himself. He's 19, but he's confident, as well he should be. He's talented in his abilities, but anytime there's a transition from college to the pros, there's a learning curve."
