We might not win, but we are beating that 7.5 point spread tonight. You can take that to the bank.

We can beat them if both Dray & NY are on there games but you never know when that will happen at the same time. If Wall’s J is going then he will keep us in it. Lets run and get it. If we have any kind of success then we have a great chance because they see this as there game to end the slump. If they fall behind at any time or struggle at any time then that crowd will start moaning, booing, the team will get down, play tighter, and we can feed off it.
Gallo is going through the norm. Whenever guys come from injury they always look like there stud self in the 1st game or 2 but then reality sets in and the rust shows. I expect him to still look crappy this game if we can play any kinda D on him. Dray can go off if he’s right

Dray looking so lazy looking tonight already. He better step it up. He didnt even go for the board 3 times on that last possesion and like 3 of those turnovers are really his fault. Flip should go to him out this TO in the post. They are too small to stop him down low and he should be able to make good passes out the double

They are infuriating! Dray looks like his on something and the bad shots and turnovers by the team is sad right now
Posted by: bullwiz81 | January 24, 2011 7:58 PM | Report abuse
Dray arguing the call while Amare throws the ball off his mug. Al gets a dunk and somehow we still give up a fast break foul despite our whole D being back

Blatche looks like he had a little pre-game celebration.

Does Dray and our whole team for that matter realize that this game is on NBA TV? We dont get National games that much so you have to show out when you play on them because this is all guys will judge you by. The fans from other teams see a game like this and they will think Dray is a scrub. Does he care?

Again, the picks suck for Wall. If only the really scealed the guy Wall would be unstoppable but instead the PG is always still on Wall even after the supposed pick. I also hate Flip's sub patterns again so far. Its like either all O or all D for him all the time. He doesnt know how to mix up the guys well

Shakur is a keeper!
Posted by: bazookajoe1 | January 24, 2011 8:24 PM | Report abuse
There you go! I like how shakur is playing. Booker is finally getting to play and showing hustle and drive. They need to keep this up and watch out for all those knickerbockers who love the 3.

I hope Wall is taking notes.

Im a big boxing fan and Im on alot of boxing sites and people who know me on those sites know that I think that being a Southpaw is by far the biggest advantage in the sport and I feel the same way in alot of sports. I think guys arent use to playing against them and in the NBA you end up fouling them alot or just having a hard time stopping them. Thats why I like Booker and he needs to play more. Most guys arent use to that Left hand crap. He could be very good, espically when he's aggressive

Just tuned in not too long ago..but I'm loving what Booker is bringing right now.

Well, even if we can't hit a 3 pointer if our lives depended on it, I like the way they're playing. The rebounding is the real secret -- if we can keep that up, I mean.

Know what you mean -- the D is horrid!

When will the Wiz learn to stop going under the pick -- especially against a 3pt shooting team.
Posted by: bazookajoe1 | January 24, 2011 9:30 PM | Report abuse
The thing is to win this game the Wiz are going to have to want it, and I don't think they do. But the Knicks do.

@ Bazookajoe1
Exactly what i said earlier. This is how the y have been able to stay in the game. The have attempted 24 threes and made 8

Why do we always give it to Dray on the weakside block? I dont get that dumb strategy by Flip. Give it to guys where they can finish with there strong hand

NY has looked really fatigued after that hot stretch. Hopefully he gets a 2nd wind. Man, we arent even close on our shots right now

Nick must have been in Blatche's room before the game.
Posted by: bazookajoe1 | January 24, 2011 9:50 PM | Report abuse
a real selfish looking 4th quarter. Just no kinda leadership down the stretch. I hate this no heart bunch. Like they just throw up anything. Then they go under on all the screens on D even though guys like Gallo & Chandler are great shooters
Posted by: dlts2041 | January 24, 2011 9:51 PM | Report abuse
Alot of this is Flip's fault. As fatigue sets in, those J's dont fall anymore. In the 4th we never go to the rim or get to the line. Just all bad J's which are hard because the D is so locked in by then. Meanwhile the other teams run "real" P&R's down the stretch and get the W's

What's happening now is that the Wiz's losing streak has the attention of the other teams and none of those teams wants to be the one the Wiz end their streak with, so that increases the other teams' intensity...Wiz have to match that intensity....

How is AB in the game? How was mustafa not in the game? It's like there's a preset program of what the 4th quarter lineups will be and there are no adjustments based on how guys are playing.

Wizards down by 2 and the end of the 3rd thought they were going to win one on the road after the way they crushed Boston the other night?
Leaving for vacation tomorrow...
No phone, No internet, No TV and just when the Wizards are improving...
Let's see what I'll miss...
Tue 25 vs Denver
Fri 28 @ OKC
Sat 29 @ Memphis
Mon 31 @ Dallas
Tue 01 @ NO
Fri 04 vs Orlando
Sat 05 vs Atlanta
Not too much but a lot of excuses...
At least I'll be in Arlington for the Super Bowl on the 6th to see a great organization (the Steelers) play.

Three conclusions now obvious:
1. The real reason the Wiz lost: no Kirk Hinrich.
2. Rashard Lewis is a lousy captain. How do we know? 'Cuz the team lost. If you ain't got the right captain, you can't win no games.
3. If there's somebody on your roster named Kirk, he's got to be Captain. Just like if you got a guy named Spock, you got to call him Mister.

I always bet on a sure thing like when I won 50 large on the Wiz/Pacers games and I made that bet based on the fact Flip was coming back to coach...It's paying for this trip and the Superbowl
I hope Ted keeps Ernie and Flip around for a long time...I need a break every now and then from sitting on the beach and smoking everyday
Life is good...
